I TRIED TO PAY A PHONE BILL WITH A CHECK FROM MY NEW BANK. I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE MY DEBIT CARD IN THE MAIL SO I DIDN'T TRY USING DEBIT.

THE BANKER TOLD ME TO GIVE THE ROUTING NUMBER AND THE ACCOUNT NUMBER WHICH I DID. BUT I WAS DENIED FIVE TIMES THROUGH THE TELECHECK SYSTEM, TRYING TO DO IT THE WAY THE BANK TOLD ME TO. THEN THE BANKER TRIED CALLING AND WAS DENIED. THEY COULD NOT UNDERSTAND WHY AS THE MONEY WAS THERE.

NEEDLESS TO SAY, THE BILL WAS NOT PAID THROUGH TELECHECK. I HAD TO DRAW THE MONEY OUT AND GET A MONEY ORDER TO PAY MY BILL.

Reason of review: Problems with payment.

Monetary Loss: $175.

Telecheck Cons: Bad experience, Did not work, Banker tried and failed.
