Yesterday, Telecheck refused to approve my check for $650.97 for a computer purchase at Best Buy. I was mystified--I have had this checking account for 40 years and never had a check rejected.
When I called Telecheck later, after walking out of the store empty-handed, I was told the cause was a "glitch in the system," whatever that means, and in fact my check should have been accepted. But it was too late, way too late. Thank you, Telecheck, for showing what a lame operation you have going.
As a result of your "glitch in the system," I'll never set foot in Best Buy again. Let's hope it's my last encounter with Telecheck as well.
