A customer handed us a check, we called Telecheck to approve, the check WAS approved and now the check has been returned to us from our bank saying the account does not exist. It has been 4 days of trying to file a claim with Telecheck to cover their mistake.

IF YOU OWN A BUSINESS DO NOT SIGN UP FOR TELECHECK! No one seems to know HOW to do this at the Telecheck hotline, they took my name and said someone would look into it and contact me....well they never took my phone number or email address (how were they going to contact me??).

I finally asked if she wanted my contact info and she says..."oh yea."

If you are a check writer...GET A DEBIT CARD!!! THIS is why your checks are usually declined, because there is SO much fraud.

Monetary Loss: $980.
